Vladimir's First Love

In First Love by Turgenev, Vladimir Petrovich is one of the main characters that believes he has fallen in love for the first time. He falls quickly for Zenaida, a beautiful young woman that is in the countryside where he is staying. He falls in love with her, even though he is only 16 and she is 21. Because he is only 16 and still probably immature, I do not believe his love could be true love. He spends a lot of time with her, and she acts as if she loves him, but i do not think she ever truly loved him because she was much older and she felt that the "love" she got from him was not real, because he was only a 16 year old boy with other things in mind.

"The Nose" from a different perspective

I could go down the street and get food, or talk to some girls all by myself. I would not have to sit on his face and wait for him to do something that I like. I enjoyed my freedom, until I was discovered and returned to him. I enjoyed my freedom while it lasted, but i must say I am pretty content with the way things are now, it seems like he appreciates me more now after he had to go through losing me. He realizes my importance
