Different Avantgarde Movements

The Surrealism part of the Avantgarde movement was started mostly by Andre Breton who started this by writing "Manifesto of Surrealism." Surrealism is also closely related to Dadaism, which emphasizes absurdity and the function of chance.

    This is definitely a surrealistic picture because I don't understand it at all. It is definitely absurd...Simon, who painted this?
